What is Title I?
Title I is a federally funded program paid for by grant money.
Here are some facts you should know about Title I services:

Schools receive Title I services based on the number of students who qualify for free and reduced meals compared to the school district’s average.

The Title I grant pays for instructional specialists, assistants, books, and materials.

Title I Parent and Family Engagement money is used to buy resources and books that are sent home and for family events.
Title I Instructional Specialists and Instructional Aides can see any child in the school who needs additional reading instruction/intervention.
